How a sauna studio actually sells

Your regulars are on a monthly plan with a visit limit. Newcomers start with an intro offer or a pack. Every session has a fixed number of seats. Most booking software handles one of those well and leaves you tracking the rest by hand.

Counting visits by hand

A member asks how many visits they have left this month, and the answer is in a spreadsheet.

Saturday is full, Tuesday is not

People get turned away from the busy sessions while the quiet ones run half-empty.

The clipboard at the door

Waivers signed on paper at check-in, while the next person waits.

What you get

Memberships with monthly visit limits

Sell unlimited or 8-a-month plans that renew on their own. One limit can cover several services, so 8 visits can be sauna or cold plunge. Members see what they have left each time they book, and a partner or family can share one plan.

Punch passes

Sell 5- and 10-packs. A session comes off the pass when the customer books, and the pass shows what is left.

Sessions with a seat limit

Set how many people a session holds. Booking stops when it is full, and a group can book several seats at once.

Intro offers for non-members

Make a first-visit code and show it in a banner on your booking page that only non-members see. You can also sell an intro pack online that only new customers can buy.

Waivers before the first visit

Customers sign on their phone from the confirmation email. Ask once, once a year, or every visit.

Check-in kiosk (Pro)

An iPad at the door. Customers check themselves in with their phone number or a QR code, and it asks for any waiver they still owe.

Simple, honest pricing

Two plans: Basic at $40 a month and Pro at $80 a month.

Basic includes everything on this page except the features marked (Pro).

Try either one free for 15 days.
